Jennifer has always felt a deep connection with summer-league swimming ever since she joined a team at the age of 7. She started swimming year-round in middle school, continued throughout high school, and finished her competitive swimming career on the varsity team at The University of Richmond. In the years since college, she has enjoyed swimming for fitness as well as competing in triathlons and participating in Swim Across America.
When her family moved to Gwinnett County in 2007, they were happy to learn there was a summer-league team in their new neighborhood and their children began swimming as soon as they were old enough. As she watched my children fall in love with the team and swimming in general, she became more involved with the team – serving as County Coordinator, Secondary Council and eventually Head Council for 3 years (2017-2019). In 2021, she was named Head Coach and enjoyed that role for 5 years. During this time, she also served as Secretary on the Gwinnett County Swim League Board for 3 years.
She began coaching in 2018 at Chattahoochee Gold, leading the Technique and Fitness group and assisting with the Sectionals and High School groups. In 2020, she joined the Lanier High School swim team staff as the Community Coach and started a team associated with Lanier Middle School in 2024.
After spending the summer of 2026 as a Coach Consultant for the Edinburgh Marlins, she is very excited to continue working with the team as Head Coach for 2027!
