EDM this week
Hi Marlins,
We will have regular practice on Wednesday & Thursday mornings. We will be selling Marlin merchandise including new goggles, girls/women t-shirts & tanks, boys/men dri fit t-shirts. We are also selling our neon yellow team shirts for $10, get ready for our 1st Home meet NEON theme!!
This Friday is picture day with individual family pictures starting at 9am. The team picture will be after. Please wear your team suit for the team picture.
The meet this week is on Thursday, May 31st at Thunderbolt at 6pm! The address is 2830 Forsyth Park Lane Suwanee GA 30024.
Please make sure you look to see what you are volunteering for on the email from Tonya. Swimmers and Volunteers need to check in at the Marlins check in table by 4:30pm, Marlins warm up in the pool at 5:10pm.. First shift Volunteers must report to their assignments by 5:30pm, meet starts promptly at 6:00pm. Second shift Volunteers must report around Event 32, this will be announced during the meet.
- Parking for your team is in the pool lot. Cars parked in the very top of this lot may be blocked until the end of the meet. It is advisable that families staying until the end, park in this section. Overflow parking is at New Hope Baptist Church, next door to the Olde Savannah Square community. This is also where we park the BOLT families, so parking will be tight in this lot. Carpooling is highly recommended. No parking on the curbs within the community please. The OSS HOA has asked us to strongly emphasize to our visiting families that the police may ticket any cars that are parked improperly.
- Your bullpen area is outside the gate in the grass area. The homeowners association has asked that we please keep both teams off the tennis & basketball courts and the playground.
- Your parent section is on the right side of the pool, facing the clubhouse. Please enter through the volleyball court entrance.
- Your warmups will begin at 5:10 pm.
- Concessions is located on the upper deck of the clubhouse. Pizza & Chick-fil-A, along with the usual spread of drinks, snacks, & candy.
- Scoring is located in the clubhouse, upstairs. Times will be posted on the wall under the clubhouse deck.
- In the event the meet is delayed for weather, please let your parents know not to congregate on the upstairs deck. Make-up night is Friday(6/1).
