GCSL County Psych Sheet and County Guidelines
July 9th
Good evening, Marlins!
Attached is the copy of the GCSL County Psych sheet, which lists the top 50 swimmers for each event. Please take a moment to review the list so you can see where your swimmer is placed. This year, County will be doing things differently:
- Security will be handled by GT staff (security and PD). They will be responsible for keeping us grown ups "in-line". By that, I mean not rushing to the front rail to take pix of our swimmers or sneaking down on-deck when we're not supposed to do so. Apparently, they had issues with this last year, and the ATL Fire Marshall shut down a meet for this reason.
- Tickets will be available in the family folders tomorrow morning. Take these tix with you to County; when you arrive at County, you will receive a wristband for your seat/volunteer assignment. Security will be scanning the audience to make sure people are sitting at their assigned seats. Anyone not wearing a wristband will be engaged by security.
- No folding lawn chairs will be allowed at all. In addition, you cannot bring large coolers for yourselves at your seats. Swimmers may have small coolers for snacks and drinks on the pool deck, but no glass of any kind will be allowed anywhere in the natatorium.
Okay--enough of the brouhaha. Let's give this last week of practice all our best, and let's watch our swimmers do their best at the County Meet this coming weekend! See you all poolside in the a.m.
Best,
Jake Edwards
