County Volunteer Information:
Below is the information provided for volunteers (location & time). Attached is the schedule of EDM volunteers per session. Please note, timers provide/bring our stopwatches.

Position Descriptions and Arrival Times
All workers must sign in at the worker sign-in table at the entrance to the Aquatic Center. Specific instructions on when and where to report will be provided at the time of sign-in.All workers must report and sign in by the times listed below.
IMPORTANT NOTE – Only ADULTS can be assigned as workers.
Timers – Timers are to provide their own stopwatch (obtain from your team).You will be assigned a lane or the position of back-up timer.You will provide the stopwatch times for each event.You will be working at the start end of the pool.
Arrival times:
Sat AM Session – 8:30 AM
Sat PM Session – 2:30 PM
Sun AM Session – 8:30 AM
Sun PM Session – 2:30 PM
Report to the Announcer’s table 45 minutes before the first event.
Runners – You will collect the lane cards/ timer sheets from each timer following every event and deliver them to the scoring table. You will be taking awards labels to the awards room and will be posting results in various parts of the venue.

Report to the Scoring Room (on deck) 30 minutes before the first event.
Heat Winner Awards – You will obtain Heat Winner awards and deliver them to the swimmers who win their heat.This could be at both the starting end of the pool and the bulkhead end of the pool.

Report to the Scoring Room (on deck) 30 minutes before the first event.
Awards – You will be responsible for placing award labels on the awards.You will be located in the conference room near the entrance to the building and next to the main Concession stand. You will also have a specific place to step out and watch your child swim 😊.

Worker Sign-in and Tickets for overflow seating - You will be responsible for signing in volunteer workers near the entry area of the building and providing overflow tickets.

Staging – You will be responsible for lining up and checking in the swimmers and escorting them to the starting area of the pool. Staging is located on the Pool Deck

Security & On Deck Operatoins– In 2018, we will NOT be responsible for crowd control and to assist spectators find their seats. We will be set up in various areas around the pool deck to ensure parents are not on-deck, to help get items from parents to their swimmers if something is forgotten, and to assist some of the younger swimmers getting out of the pool.(Pool entrance, Staging area, Pool Deck , Warm-up Area, Photo Area, Hospitality, etc)

Meet by the elevators on the main floor.
Heat Sheets – You will be responsible for selling Heat Sheets and providing information and directions to the spectators.
