Below is the Survey Monkey link, so you can let us know what type of summer swim season you prefer. If neither option appeals to you and your family will not be participating, you do not need to respond. 

Please carefully read the information below detailing each option before completing the survey. If you previously reached out via email, please still use the survey. 

OPTION A- Participate in Gwinnett County Swim League [GCSL] Virtual Season

• All meets virtual at HOME. No visiting team.
• At least 4 virtual meets with one week of intra squad.
• Meet attendance limited to swimmers, volunteers and coaches-only. No spectators.
• Families must provide a volunteer at each meet. May include new volunteer positions such as sanitizing, etc.
• Strict adherence to CDC, USA Swimming and Edinburgh HOA COVID guidelines.
• Safety measures during meets and practice to include hand washing, masks on deck, social distancing, and limiting people in one area.
• No concessions
• Traditional practices with limited number of swimmers in each lane.
• County Meet in July will be held at location other than Georgia Tech. Location TBD.

OPTION B- Independent Conditioning Season

• Summer swim option focusing on conditioning, strokes, fitness and having fun while keeping safety in mind.

• Two, four-week session options, dates TBD
• Multiple time slots by age group- all age groups included (*Minis under consideration)
• Each group- 12 kids max (6 per lane)
• Open to Past Marlins Swimmers & New Resident Swimmers
• Cost- Reduced rate from regular season
• All CDC, USA Swimming and HOA guidelines will be followed. No swimmer may practice if experiencing symptoms, exposed or diagnosed with COVID.
• Possible EOS Mock Meet with ice cream truck/Kona Ice, etc.

Sample Conditioning Schedule for Ages 7 & Up*:

Mondays- Dives/Starts

Tuesdays- Free & Back

Weds- Fly & Breast

Thurs- Relays/Races/Teamwork
