Good morning! 

Hope we are all very excited for meet #2 tonight!

A few reminders for tonight, please make sure that you pack snacks and water/gatorade/nonalcoholic drinks for you kids (and for you :)) since there will be no concessions stand. 

Please be there by 4:30 again tonight so that everyone can get settled and we can check volunteers and the swimmers in. 

Warmup times are like last week:

• 6&U: 5-5:15
• 7-10: 5:15-5:30
• 11&Up: 5:30-5:45

Tonight's theme is Hawaiian so everyone grab your leis, Hawaiian shirts, and hula skirts! 

And this week the bullpen (where the kids sit) will be under the clubhouse so it is closer to the staging and starting blocks, we do not have to worry about the bugs in the grass and trees, everyone's things will be covered if it rains, and we do not have to go all the way around the pool for staging if the fence is still locked. Again, if all the kids sit all together in the bullpen it is a lot easier for us to find the swimmers instead of them being around the pool. Thank you for remaining flexible with us!

Parents can sit around the pool like the last meet so that you can cheer on the swimmers. (feel free to dress in the Hawaiian theme as well)

I am attaching the link to the heat sheet. If possible write the events, heats, and lanes on your swimmer with Sharpie so that they can see what they are swimming tonight when they are called over to staging! (it will make this process run so much smoother)

Also! I know we have all probably been checking the weather a ton for tonight. Please come to the meet and stay the whole time your swimmer is supposed to swim! If it is raining, we can still swim! (so bring your umbrellas) If there is thunder or lighting in the distance, we will wait the delay of 20/30 minutes and go from there. If there is a delay please stay the entire time and DO NOT leave (unless instructed otherwise)! We are checking the weather constantly so if your swimmer is entered in the meet, please come tonight and do not leave early! We will discuss what happens in the event we cancel the meet, if it comes to that (we decide after the meet starts so be here anyways). Plan on the meet happening like normal!!!!!

Thank you all so so so much, I really appreciate all of the help that you give us coaches and your swimmers. We would not be able to function without you! I am excited to see everyone tonight and show you how well our swimmers have been doing! They've put in a lot of hard work and are hopefully as excited as I am!
