Marlins,

First of all I would like to Congratulate all of our Marlins swimmers on a fantastic season. A special applause to all of the swimmers that participated this past weekend at Georgia Tech in the County Meet. They all worked very hard this season and it showed. Thank you to all of the parents that volunteered and of course to our fabulous coaches! Many of you have contributed to their end of year bonuses so thank you for that as well. We look forward to seeing you all at the end of the year celebration on August 2nd from 3-5pm.

Moving forward next season we are going to have to have someone step forward as a head council member to take over the Marlins. The Edwards family has been in this position for the past several years, and we have been trying to find someone to shadow for the past 2 years but have not been successful. We will not be able to act as head council next year. The planning starts in January, and we will need to find additional committee members as well. We had several committee members resign which is another reason that made this year challenging. There are plenty of opportunities to get involved so please let me know if you are interested in helping keep the Marlins Swim Team the team that it is!
