Hi families--

We've had a great first week of practice and hope everyone is having fun!  Remember right now, it's just about conditioning the kids to get back in the water and start building endurance.  As we move into our summer morning practice schedule, the groups will be smaller and coaches will better be able to start working on technique.  We will be making some adjustments to our morning practice schedule, so it may look a little different from what is printed in the handbook.  I will send out the new schedule next week.  

Two important dates I want to make you aware of:

1.  Our Picture Day has been scheduled for Friday, May 27, starting at 9:00am.  This is the morning after our mock meet.  Both individual/sibling photos and team picture will be taken at this time.  Please wear your blue Marlin suit and bring your best smile.  We apologize, but there will be no makeups.  

2.  NO PRACTICE on Memorial Day!  

It is now time to start RSVP'ing to our swim meets!  This is very important for all families to do.  The more notice the better, so you can go in now and put in your availability for all meets as far as you know.  And if something comes up along the way, be sure to go back in and make changes.  Coaches must know of any absences from meets A WEEK IN ADVANCE!  **It is only necessary to RSVP to a meet if you will NOT be able to make it. ** You do not have to do anything further if you will attend the meet.  

Directions to RSVP if you will NOT be at meet:

For each meet you will NOT be attending, you must RSVP your regrets via SwimTopia at least one week in advance.

By RSVPing, you let our coaches know not to seed your swimmer and you are released from your volunteer duties for that meet.

If you fail to RSVP and your swimmer is absent, s/he will not be permitted to swim in the next meet and you will be subject to the volunteer no-show fine.

Please note, the Last Chance Timed Trial Meet is for swimmers wanting to improve their times to qualify for the county meet. This meet's RSVP will open closer to the date.
