Hello Marlins!

We've had a productive second week of practice and hope that everyone is having FUN!  I know this is a crazy busy time of year, so let's hold on for another week!!  Here is some important information for the upcoming week:

Summer Morning Practice

Starting on Thursday, May 26, we will switch to our MORNING practice schedule for the remainder of the season.  I have included an attachment of the schedule handy for you to print!  Practice groups are broken down by age.  We have a very large number of swimmers in all of the age groups from 10 and under-- which is great for our growing team!  But it means that we've had to adjust some of the practice times (different from printed in handbook) to best accommodate each group.  The goal is to keep a limited number of swimmers per lane which allows the coaches to give more specific instruction to all swimmers based on their needs.  We ask that swimmers participate in their assigned age group, so that coaches can also work on relay practice throughout the week.  The turnover time between age groups will be very quick, so we're asking for your help to keep all swimmers out of the water until their practice times begins and the exit the pool as soon as their practice is over.  

Evening Practice Sign-Up

The sign up for evening practices is now open on Swimtopia.  It will be offered on Monday and Wednesday evenings beginning on June 1.  We have a very limited amount of space, so evening practice times are ONLY for working families or for kids in week long camps that conflict with the morning schedule.  No Minis in evening practice.  

To sign up for evening practice:  Go to Swimtopia- go to Swim Meets or Upcoming Events-click the practice you wish to attend- click swimmer's name attending- Save.  

** Now is also the time to make sure you've RSVP'd for the Mock Meet Time Trial for next week-- only if you will NOT be at meet!!! **

Upcoming Dates

May 24-   Last Day of after school practice

May 25-   NO Practice

May 26-   First Day of Morning Practice and Mock Meet

May 27-   Picture Day (beginning 9am)

May 30-   NO Practice for Memorial Day
