Hi Marlins-

I promise this will be the last time you hear from me and then you can enjoy a nice, long weekend ;-) 

I'm including a copy the final results of the meet last nite so you can see how your child placed and their time.  We understand that many swimmers tried strokes that were new to them or are still having difficulty with proper technique.  This will be a good baseline to help guide coaches.  If your child got DQ'd (disqualified) that just means that your swimmer had some sort of improper stroke technique as determined by the official judges.  You may not know the specific reason for DQ, but coaches will use that info and  continue to teach proper technique for all stokes.  You will see improvement over time!  The time on a DQ does not count in placement.  Ribbons are awarded for placement 1-6 for individual events and 1-3 for relay teams. (most of our relay times from last nite did not count-sorry).  Ribbons will be ready for pickup on the morning after the meet in your family file folder.  

***Now is the time to make sure you have RSVP'd if you will NOT be here for the meet next week.  Coach Josh will be seeding the meet soon and needs to know who will NOT be here!!  This can be done on the Swimtopia website.  Let me know if you have any questions on that.  ***
