Good Afternoon Marlins!

We're excited to host our first dual meet with a visiting team after 2 years!!  We will welcome the Maple Ridge Swim Team tomorrow nite.  It will run very much like our mock meet last week, except with more people!  We invite everyone to join in and dress up for our Red, White and Blue All American theme night in honor of Memorial Day and all that have served.  

I'm including the list of swimmer events so you know what your child is swimming and you can do their arm graffiti ahead of time if you wish.  In a dual meet, there are limited number of entries per event, so you'll notice that your child may not be swimming as many events as they did last week.  I'm also including reminders about how to prepare for a swim meet on a separate document.  

Check-In

Swimmer check- in is at 4:30!  Check in table will be located on the pool deck near the back gate leading to our bullpen.  Report straight to the bullpen area to check in.  It is very important that your swimmer highlight their name on the board upon arrival.  This is the only way that the coaches know that your swimmer is present!  Volunteer check- in will also be in the same area.  Parents, be sure to sign yourselves in as well and write out a name tag for yourself, so you get credit for your volunteer duty.  Please see the previous volunteer email from Julie Shingadia, regarding your specific duty.  

--Warm-ups will begin promptly at 5:00.  Mini Marlins will do their exhibition lap with coaches right before the start of the meet, at 5:55.  

4:30- Swimmer Check-In

***  PLEASE, PLEASE have all swimmers STAY IN THE BULLPEN at all times!  We had many swimmers sitting with parents around pool deck last week and had a difficult time finding them to line up for their events.  Parents, feel free to visit your kids in the bullpen but please help us by keeping your kids in the bullpen.  We'd hate for anyone to miss their race.  ***

The home side of the pool for Marlin parents is the side closest to our bullpen (facing the clubhouse).  Please stay on the one side and keep the ends of the pool clear for coaches and officials.  

Parking 

Feel free to park anywhere in our main pool parking lot or along the designated single side of the street around pool area. Parking signs will be out to guide you. Please DO NOT PARK in the vacant lot to the right of the clubhouse OR in the secondary tennis parking lot. Thank you!

Concessions /Heat Sheets

Concessions will be available on the upper patio. We will have a variety of the normal fare- pizza, pasta, nachos, snacks, candy and drinks. We will also feature Italian Ice from Jeremiah’s, one of our sponsors. We will be accepting cash and Venmo for all purchases. We no longer will be selling heat sheets, however a pdf should be made available for you to print before you come if you wish.  I will send out the full heat sheet tomorrow morning. 

Fun Friday

Join us Friday morning for donuts, fun pool games and collect your ribbons!  No official practice, just FUN!  No mini's please as there will be pool games- sorry!

10-11:00- 11 and up
