Alright Marlins-- We have made it to the final 2 regular season meets!!  These meets are very close together so I'm going to explain the RSVP procedure for each meet separately.  Please read thru carefully so you'll know what's happening over the next week and give your swimmers the best opportunity to swim ;-)  Also, please note that this coming week will be our last week of regular practice for the whole team.  Normal practice will also be the morning of the 27th before our last chance meet-- BUT after the 27th, only swimmers competing in the county swim meet will continue with practice until the county championship, July 8-10 (we will also have adjusted practice hours for county practice, more to come...) .  Allison, our county coordinator, will be providing information soon and gathering availability if your swimmer is a county contender.  

Meet 5-  Away vs. Richland

Regular dual meet on Thursday, 23rd.  RSVP procedure is the same as previous meets.  You must RSVP if you are NOT attending.  All 'undeclared' or swimmers who mark that they will attend and pick their strokes WILL all be seeded in the meet.  RSVP will close on Monday for this meet.  Please make sure you get your 'No's' or your stroke selections in by Monday!!  

Meet 6-  Last Chance Meet at Edinburgh 

This meet will be just for our swimmers with no visiting team on Monday, 27th, 6:00 pm.  This meet is open to ALL swimmers and we encourage everyone to take the opportunity for one last swim, regardless if you're a contender for county or trying to make a cut.  All times are official and count toward your county time.  It's a great time just to improve, meet a personal goal or just try strokes that you're interested in. The RSVP for this meet is different!!  If you want to  swim in the Last Chance Meet, YOU MUST RSVP THAT YOU WILL ATTEND!  Again, it is mandatory that you mark that you will attend and please select the strokes that you would like to swim.  **IF you do not indicate that you will attend, you will not be seeded in this meet!!**  RSVP for this meet will stay open until Sunday, 26th.  Please go in and mark that you'll be attending the LC meet as soon as you can.  The earlier the better so we can start making our volunteer list.  We realize that this will be a smaller meet, with less than normal swimmers.  We will need every available volunteer but the meet will go pretty quick!  

**As a reminder about how to RSVP in any way:  Go to Swimtopia- click on swim meets- go down to the meet you want- click on the green rsvp button- click Edit- mark your swimmers availability/stroke selection- Save.  **

Mini Marlin Schedule-- Minis keep practicing as normal this coming week.  It will be your last week of practice.  IF Richland invites swimmers for a bubble heat at their meet on Thursday, I will let you know.  Then all minis are invited to swim a bubble heat at our Last Chance Meet.  Please rsvp as well to let us know that your mini would like to swim in the last chance meet.
