It's time for a BLUE OUT!!  We travel to the Richland Waves for our last dual meet, so let's go in there dressed like a wave of Marlin BLUE!  Richland is just down L'ville Suwanee Rd, near Collins Hill HS, about a 20-25 min. drive.  Swimmer check-in is at 4:30.  Our warm-ups will begin about 5:30.  Please report to the Marlin bullpen and sign yourself in as soon as you get there.  Richland WILL have a bubble heat of swimmers just before the beginning of meet, so if there are any Minis that will be there and would like to swim with coaches, please let the coaches know this week in practice.  The following is the information sent from Richland regarding their pool.  After the meet is merged, I will send out swimmer events tomorrow.  

Physical address of pool:  2074 Quinton Pl, Suwanee, GA 30024

Parking- Please have your parents park in either of the parking lots or one side of the street on Laurel Lake Drive as marked. There is a bridge through the woods from the lower lot off Quinton that parents should use to come to the pool (it's shorter than walking along Quinton Place). There is no parking on Quinton Place or Taylor Road.  ** looking at it on map, if you're coming from L'vill Suwanee Rd. down Taylor Rd., the pool will be on your right.  Pass the first parking lot for the pool and the clubhouse and turn right onto Quinton Place.  You'll see the playground area and if you pass that, there will be a parking lot just on the right after playground.  That will be the closest to our bullpen.  

Concessions- We will have Chick-Fil-A Chicken Sandwiches, Hot Dogs, Domino's pizza, candy, water, and drinks. We will take credit cards however cash is king (and faster at check out). We will also have a few heat sheets available for sale but I will send the heat sheet on Wednesday if you want to post it for your parents.

Bullpen- Your team will be in the grassy area by the playground. There are several picnic tables but may want to bring folding chairs for swimmers to sit in.  ** Marlins, there is not much shade in our area. I would plan on bringing tents/umbrellas, anything you need to create shade as it will be very hot, and could be out in open.  If I remember correctly about this pool, the area for our bullpen is a little more spread out.  It would be helpful if swimmers can stay together on an area of the grass so we have an easier time finding and lining up our swimmers. Absolutely NO GETTING ON PLAYGROUND equipment!  Please be good listeners and stay close in bullpen so you don't miss your race.  

Spectators- will be on the side of the pool closest to the clubhouse. Please....NO canopy tents are allowed in the spectator area.

Mushroom Pool- Swimmers are not allowed in the Mushroom Pool. As of now, the weather looks very hot. We will provide water for all volunteers. If we need to reschedule, the make-up date is Monday, June 27th at 6:00 pm.
