Sorry our last meet didn't go as planned-- I hate that some kids didn't get to swim who wanted to.  It's always a tough decision to make in the moment when mother nature doesn't cooperate. ;-(  But we got some great final swims done during our makeup morning meet today!  Thanks to all who helped us pull it off and give the kids an extra opportunity!  

I'm including the results of the last chance meet.  We are not doing ribbons like we normally do bc the heats were incomplete.  Your swimmer hopefully received a ribbon for each of their swims as acknowledgement and you're welcome to write their time on it from the results page if you like to keep them!  The results from this meet were submitted to GCSL and will be updated accordingly in the final county list that is due out tomorrow with final standings.  

County Championship Meet

We are desperately waiting to hear from some families regarding their intentions for the county meet.  Please-- if your swimmer is on the county qualifying list, please RSVP and let us know if you can attend.  You can also contact Allison directly, [email protected] .  There are many swimmers that could have the opportunity to attend for relays, even if they're not qualified in an individual event, IF we know you're available.  You may hear directly from Allison soon if your swimmer is a possibility. If you have questions regarding county meet, please email Allison.  It will be very helpful if all families could rsvp on Swimtopia so we know if you're available one way or the other.  County attendance is very strict- if you commit to attend the county meet and a swimmer is a no-show, the team is fined $100, so please be sure of your availability!

For those swimmers who qualify and WILL attend the county meet, practice will continue starting tomorrow:  

8:30-9:30  10 and under

9:30-10:30  11 and up

NO practice on July 4th and NO evening practice hours.  Again, from here on out ONLY those who are attending county will have practice!  

We will hopefully see everyone else back together at our end of season banquet on July 14 to celebrate our wonderful season!  (Please rsvp on Swimtopia for banquet!)
