Hello Marlin Families!

Believe it or not, the Marlins are getting ready for Summer '23!  We want to be bigger and better than ever and hope you all come back to swim with us.  Registration will opening in the next few weeks, so be looking for notices on that. I'll also email registration info thru Swimtopia as well.  

I am HAPPY to announce that 2 wonderful families, Tracy & Ryan Turley and Brittany & Dan Rector will be taking over as new co-head council and will be training along side me this season!  In addition, we have several committee members and coaches returning with their experience from last year.  With that said, we do have multiple committee positions that need to be filled so that our season runs smoothly.  Committee roles come with the perk of getting one FREE swimmer for the season and not having to work during meets.  Also, this season we are offering a $50 refund for those willing to fill the critical positions of Stroke and Turn judge OR Starter for our team.  These 2 positions require just 1 video training session to become certified.  We highly encourage any minimally experienced swim family to step up for these roles.  It's a great way to learn a lot, be front and center for all the action and receive concessions coupon while working! The more judges we have, the lighter the work, so we want to build a team of judges.  

We invite everyone to a Volunteer Interest Meeting on Sunday, Feb. 26 starting at 5:00 in the Residents Clubhouse.  Come learn about the roles and how you can get involved, to any degree that you wish!!  This whole swim program is a volunteer organization and we need YOU to help keep it going and make it the best it can be!  It's a wonderful way to spend a part of your summer- meeting new people and creating a great experience for many kids!  If you are unable to make the meeting but are interested in exploring a new role, feel free to reach out.
