Hi Marlins!

We have some updates to share for our upcoming season...

Registration for the '23 season will close on April 30!!  We're entering our final month to sign up and we want to encourage everyone to keep registering and spread the word!  We've had a strong start and it's shaping up to be a great season-- so don't miss out!!  Register at www.edinburgh.swimtopia.com . To help you plan for the summer, we want to share the tentative practice schedule.  **Please note that the times for a particular age group are subject to change based on final registration numbers.**  For those of you who were with us last year, we've made some notable changes based on what we learned last season. We feel that this schedule will maximize the lane space per age group and allow for maximum coach coverage for the appropriate ages.  Again, practice will begin on Monday, May 8 and run Monday-Friday, throughout the season.

After School Practice  (May 8 - May 23) (No practice on last day of school)

5:00- 6:00  Rising 6th graders, MS and HS age

6:00- 7:00  Elementary age (7/8s & 9/10s)

6:00-6:30   6 and unders  (6u's will be in separate lanes)

Summer Morning Practices   (May 25- end of season)

8:00- 8:45  7/8s & 9/10s  Session A*

8:45- 9:30  7/8s & 9/10s  Session B*

9:30- 10:30  11/12s and up

10:30-11:00  6 and unders & Minis

*Based on anticipated numbers, swimmers in the 7/8 and 9/10 age group will fill out a preference form for either practice session A or B.  We hope that this will more evenly space kids out and offer some flexibility for our largest age groups.  More to come.  

Evening Practice Hours during summer will be offered in 2 sessions on Mondays and Wednesdays.  Evening practice is STRICTLY for working families that can't make mornings and for kids who are in week long camps.  Evening practice will have a limited number of available slots and will be closely monitored for only those that are signed up.  Details for sign ups will follow.  

WE HAVE NEW TEAM SUITS!!  It's been 3 years since we've been able to offer new swim suits and now they're back!  The Marlin suit will be slightly redesigned and will be available for purchase thru our website (link coming soon).  The purchase of the new suit will be optional for the '23 season as a grace period, but will be required beginning in the '24 season.  The design will not be changed for many seasons to come, so no worry that you'll continuously need to purchase new suits.  We highly encourage everyone get our new Marlin suit starting now!!  Keep in mind that even during this optional season, a royal blue team suit is required for swim meets.

**A swim suit fitting will be offered on Wednesday, April 19 from 5:30-7:30**  at the clubhouse!  We're switching to Speedo suits and a representative will be available to help with fittings in both girl suits and boys jammers.  You can take the size recommendation home with you and order directly from our swim shop.  Hope you can make it!
