Happy Friday Marlins!  And congratulations on an awesome first meet-- Marlins WIN, 354-339!!  Everyone did a great job, swimming new things and getting back in the water.  Thank you to our volunteers who all pulled together to have a successful meet.  I'm attaching the final results from the meet, so you can see your child's time and how they placed.  Some swimmers might have a DQ (disqualification) in their race and that just means that the judges saw something wrong with the stroke technique that broke the stroke rules.  Very common with new swimmers and as kids learn new strokes. They try to mark the reason for the DQ (but not always) so you might see that on the results.  It's meant to help them learn, so feel free to have your swimmers talk to the coaches during practice so they can improve!

--NO Practice on Memorial Day Monday.  See you back on Tuesday morning at your regular practice time.

-- RSVP for next week's meet NOW!  You must RSVP if you want to swim in next week's meet --Sign up will close on Sunday nite!

This will be our first HOME meet, so we hope to have lots of swimmers and we'll need more volunteer help for more positions as the host team.  

-- All evening practice sessions have now been opened on Swimtopia.  You need to sign up to attend an evening practice and spots are reserved for working families and swimmers that are in a week-long camp.  On Swimtopia, go to Swim Meets, click on the practice date that you want, click on 'Job Sign Up', then select which session you want to attend, Save.  The reservation will go in under the parent name and that's okay.  

-- Picture Day is next Friday, June 2, starting at 9:00.  Please wear your blue Marlin suits.  Both team and individual photos will be taken.  We will begin lining up at 9:00 for team photo first, so please be on time!
