Starting Strong: First week practice details

Hi, Marlins Family! I cannot believe the first day of practice is already upon us, but I could not be more thrilled to dive into this new season with all of you! 

As we gear up for the first week of practices, I wanted to send a quick outline of what to expect! 

Things to bring: 

  • For after-school practices, we will be starting every practice with stretching and light dryland before getting in the pool. Please send your athletes in sneakers and clothes that they can move around in! 
    • Unfortunately, the forecast is calling for cold and rainy weather on Monday and Tuesday, so please make sure your kiddos are prepared with clothes and shoes, just in case we have to stick solely to dryland activities! We want to ensure that our swimmers can get moving, even if we cannot hop in the pool! 
  • Goggles & swimsuit! 
  • A great attitude!

There will be more information shared once we get things going and if anything changes! Despite the uncertainty of the weather the first two days, I have full confidence that we'll have a fantastic first week of practices! Thank you all for you continued support and commitment to our team. I cannot wait to see everyone tomorrow, ready to kick off an incredible season!
