County Meet 2017 Availability
Dear Edinburgh Marlins Parents,
In preparation for the upcoming County meet, we are asking your swimmer's availability to potentially participate in the championship
meet, July 8-9 at Georgia Tech Pool. The schedule is listed below:
July 8 – SATURDAY
Session 1 – MORNING - 9/10 Session 2 – AFTERNOON – 13-18
July 9 - SUNDAY
Session 1 – MORNING – 8 & under Session 2 – AFTERNOON – 11/12
Here is some general information (especially for those new to the GCSL or with first year county swimmers):
1. Individual Events - The top 50 swimmers in each event, after the last meet of the season, have the opportunity to participate in the championship meet in up to 3 events (not including relays).
2. Relays - Every team can send their top relay team for IM and FREE.
3. In both cases above, participation is based first on rank/time and second on availability.
Attached is the current GCSL rankings. Please email Allison Zafft @ [email protected] if your swimmer plans to attend and they are ranked in the top 75.
