The AWAY meet this week is Thursday, May 25th at Lansmoore Lasers at 6 pm!

Physical Address is: 1002 Lansfaire Crossing, Suwanee, GA 30024

Directions:  

From the front gate of Edinburgh, continue onto Johnson Rd for 1.1 miles, turn right onto Suwanee Dam Rd, go 1.4 miles. Turn right onto Moore Rd, go 2.6 Miles. Turn left onto Lansfaire Crossing.  The pool is on the right.

Parking in either lot off Moore Rd.

If you come back into Lansfaire via Moore Rd, Main entrance into Lansfaire by pool and tennis courts--come in and take a left.  That's main pool lot.

2nd entrance take next left--across from strip before CFA.  Take road and take 1st left.  Follow down to pool.  This will be the lot back by your team area (grass area by playground)  Lots more spots back there.  

Signs will be out in the community relative to what side of street to park on.  No parking on side of road on Moore Rd and no parking along curb by tennis courts.  Please park carefully.

Swimmers and Volunteers need to check in at the Marlins check in table by 4:30pm. First shift Volunteers must report to their assignments by 5:30pm, meet starts promptly at 6:00pm. Second shift Volunteers must report around Event 32, this will be announced during the meet.

The event numbers will be in the family folders, but heats and lanes will not be available until we get to LLST. This is standard for an Away Meet.

During the meet, all swimmers should remain in the bullpen so that they are easily found/can hear when their event is called. Also, please remember to be respectful and pick up trash!!

The theme of the meet will be Hawaiian Luau Night!  

Kick off the 1st day of summer vacation in style! Dust off your favorite Hawaiian shirts, grass skirts and coconut cups. We'll hit the hula hoops to warm up and maybe strum a Ukulele as the spirit of the islands moves us.

Food is mostly $1, will be pizza and Chick Fila Sandwiches with the normal candy and drinks

 Programs $2.

Weather Delays

What if it starts raining at a meet?  We do swim in the rain, not a thunderstorm.

If a meet is interrupted for a thunderstorm, DO NOT GO HOME! For everyone’s safety, follow the inclement weather instructions in the Heat Sheet. Many times the meet will resume where it left off after the storm passes. If it does not resume, you will be notified via text of the make -up date, which will be determined prior to the meet by both teams. For home meets the make-up date will be the next evening unless otherwise notified. Volunteers will keep the same assignments for the make-up meet. Please find your own replacement if you cannot attend the second meet.
