Parking for Home Swim Meets...
As many of you are aware, parking can come at quite a premium during a home swim meet, and can create some traffic congestion in the neighborhood. In an effort to ease that for the upcoming season, we have successfully negotiated with the owner of the vacant lots right next to the swimming pool. The owner of the lot has been kind enough to agree for us to use the lot; however, in order to park in the lot each homeowner MUST sign the attached release form.
There will be either be a Security Officer or Team Volunteer at the lot beginning at 4:00pm. In order to park in this lot you must either bring a completed waiver with you to the meet, or sign one upon arriving at the meet. In year’s past, we have used this lot and it has been a huge benefit to easing the traffic in the neighborhood. This lot will be filled on a first come, first serve basis. Completing the attached form does NOT reserve you a spot in this lot.
The HOA has gone to great lengths to secure this lot for us to use, so please make every effort to park in this lot first. The lot is only available to Edinburgh Swim Team members, so the other team will not be permitted to use this lot.
In order to maximize the available parking for all participants, we encourage as many of you as possible to park in this lot for our home meets. Also, if possible, please consider carpooling with fellow Marlins or, if convenient, walking to the meet from your residence.
