County Meet Info/ Note from Coach Jared!

Hi Marlins!

Below is the show up, warm up & start time for each session on either Saturday or Sunday.  Please let us know if you have questions!

Saturday Morning (9&10):

-Arrive no later than 7:15am

-Warm ups at 7:30am

-Meet starts at 9:20am

 

Saturday Afternoon (13&up):

-Arrive no later than 1:30pm

-Warm ups at 2:00pm

-Meet starts at 3:15pm

 

Sunday Morning (8&under):

-Arrive no later than 8:00am

-Warm ups at 8:30am

-Meet starts at 9:15am

 

Sunday Afternoon (11&12):

-Arrive no later than 1:45pm

-Warm ups at 2:15pm

-Meet starts at 3:00pm

 

Coach Jared's cell #  is 770-653-8497. If anyone oversleeps, gets stuck in traffic or is running late for any reason, please call him ASAP.

 

 County Advice from Coach Jared:

-Get a good nights rest the night before the meet.

-Food:

-Night before: Something high in carbs like spaghetti. Avoid fried food. Drink water.

-Breakfast: Eat a good and healthy breakfast but avoid super sugary foods. Drink water.

-At the meet: Drink Gatorade & water. Eat bagels, pretzels, bananas, granola bars, or crackers.

-Do not drink energy drinks, soft drinks, or milkshakes until after you are completely done swimming.

-Swimmers must stay in the bullpen, and they must ask a coach if they need to use the restroom or go see their parents in the stands.

-Have the swimmers bring things to do for when they are not swimming like books, games, tablets, ipods, etc.

-Show good sportsmanship at county too!

-Most importantly: relax and have a fun time!
