Final County Meet Qualifiers & Information - Please Read
Folks,
We have our official meet entries. I have compiled them into the master
spreadsheet along with other important information. Please ready both
documents completely.
Events:
The master spreadsheet lists the events that's successfully made it
into the county meet. If your child's ranking number is in red and 51-56,
then they are "alternates" for the event (51 being first alternate, 52
second alternate, etc.) This means that if any of the other swimmers ranked
1-50 don't show or scratch for whatever reason, these swimmers could be
bumped up into the event. If this applies to your child I would plan to be
at the event just in case they are green lighted to participate.
The swimmers whose entire line is colored red, unfortunately, did
not make it into the meet this year and do NOT need to attend practice
anymore or plan to attend the meet.
Volunteers:
I only received volunteer requests from about half of the needed 17.
As the team was required to provide the full 17, I had to "recruit" some of
you to volunteer as well. Those that I signed up are highlighted in
yellow. Please plan to be at the volunteer area at the time designated at
the bottom of the master sheet. I will not be at the meet, however
Camilo DenBrok will be and will be available to help point you in the right
direction should you have trouble figuring out what you need to do.
Tickets:
There are only a limited number of tickets for each family per
session 2-4, depending on the session. The Saturday double session has less
tickets than the single sessions. I tried to divide the tickets the
best I could, if you need more than the tickets you were provided, let me
know and I will send out an e-mail asking if anyone else with tickets in
that session can spare them. Even though we have assigned seats,
historically, seating has never been an issue as most people are working or
walking around and there tend to be quite a few seats available. And
there is overflow seating available on a first come first serve basis. The
tickets will be in your child's family folder for you to pick up.

Tickets – The league has issued tickets for each session; approximately 1600 or 3 per swimmer per session. The ticket will be for a specific numbered seat. Saturday’s double session will cause seating/ticket issues that will be addressed. Expect 2 tickets per swimmer for Saturday PM. You will not need a ticket to get into the venue, but must sit in your numbered seat. The league plans to leave a number of seats on the sides of the prime seating areas (those numbered tickets that will be assigned to teams) available for overflow. Those overflow seats are first come, first served.
