Hello All,

Please read and respond immediately to the following.

Potential Swimmers added:

The County has posted the Top 100 through Week 5. I have updated the
attached spreadsheet with the information. Last week's results only
included the Top 75. The county expands the results to the Top 100 for the
final two meets because although only the Top 50 are technically invited,
due to swimmer stroke selection and those that choose not to participate
swimmers from as high as 100 have been invited to participate at the meet in
past years. As a result, your child may have been added to the list this
week. If your child's name is highlighted in PURPLE it means I need to know
ASAP if you are willing to attend the meet should your child be selected.
If I do not receive a response from you, I will have to assume the answer is
no. The reason for this is we will be fined for each swimmer that we enter
that does not attend the meet. So, please, if you say yes, make sure you
are at the meet.

Volunteers Needed:

We are required to provide 17 volunteers over the course of the weekend.
Most of them are Security/Ushers but we also have a Heat Award Winner
position available as well. I have updated the first page of the attached
file with the volunteer information and approximate times you need to be
available to start. Let me know ASAP if you are willing to volunteer.

Stroke Selection:

Several swimmers may qualify in more than one individual stroke. As with
our regular meets, the county meet only allows for 3 individual events and 2
relays. Please either respond to Jared or me with your individual stroke
selection so that we can get you registered properly. Please note that
regardless of what stroke we register your child for, they will only be
selected by the county if they make in by being in the "top 50". That means
that the lower the number your child ranks, the better the chance your child
will be invited to swim that stroke. For most of you I would suggest
choosing the three best rankings for your individual selections to help
ensure that you are ultimately selected.


I will send the results one final time after the week 6 results are released
by the county next week. As you may recall we actually swam our Week 6 meet
against Lansmoore on June 17th.
