In response to other teams doing charity fundraisers, the Marlins have decided to give a little something back this year too! Let's all swim for a CAUSE and make a difference! Our chosen charity is JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) which is the leading global organization dedicated to finding a cure for type 1 (insulin-dependent) diabetes and improving the lives of those living with type 1. (We have a long time Marlin swimmer that was diagnosed with type 1 less than 2 years ago.)

How can you help??

At our last home meet, on June 26, we are going to have:

• Parent/coach relays – we need parents to swim in a relay and you to vote for your favorite team!! We are forming parent relays now, so please contact us if you are interested!!
• Bake sale – we need you to bake some individually wrapped goodies and purchase some too!
• Fresh popcorn sale – buy some freshly popped popcorn!
• Raffle prizes – buy some raffle tickets to win some great prizes!
• Glow in the dark bracelets – give any donation to JDRF and you’ll get a bracelet!

All proceeds will go directly to JDRF!
