Raffle Tickets Reminder
Please remember to turn in fundrasier raffle money & ticket stubs to Shellie Sobh during morning practices from 8-9:30am, or leave in the basket by her side door ( 5044 Brendlynn Drive). For every two tickets sold, you are entered into another raffle for great prizes! This is our main fundraiser for the season. Our coaches have told us we really need new lane ropes since so many pieces are breaking. We hope to raise enough to purchase several from this fundrasier! Thursday night's meet is a special one for us. We are honoring one of our past swimmers, Hanna Slater, who is currently battling ALL Leukemia. We will be having a Purple Out on Thursday and coloring the pool with dye. The dye is safe, won't stain kids or suits and the swimmers will still be able to see under water. We did it last year and had GCSL permission.

At our swim meet on June 14th, Hanna Slater, a rising 8th grade student at NGMS, will be selling candy bars to raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). The candy bars will be selling for $2 each with 100% percent of the funds going to benefit the LLS Light the Night Walk for Team Hanna’s Hero’s.
Last summer Hanna was diagnosed with ALL Leukemia. Hanna has spent the last 12 months enduring intense daily chemotherapy, blood transfusions, lumbar punctures and over 8 weeks of in-patient hospitals stays with little to no complaints – her strength and positive attitude has been amazing.
