If you are getting this email twice or more, I apologize, this is the email we send to everyone in our registry who has been apart of the Marlins to ensure everyone is kept up to date!  We will eventually get the emails to registered families.

Registration

Our registration for the upcoming 2012 swim team has been a HUGE success!  We currently have 135 registered swimmers, with that being said, we need to get all registration forms, fees (except suits & t-shirts, that is taken at the sizing) & waivers in asap.  The forms can be found on the website. 

Coaching Staff

We are excited to announce our wonderful coaching staff as follows!  Danny will be returning to Edinburgh as the Head Coach, along with our experienced assistants from last year.

Dates
Our Tentative schedule, with more to come:
May 14- First day of after school practices
4:00-5:00pm for Elementary school age swimmers
5:00-6:00pm for Middle & High school age swimmers
 
May 24- move to morning practices
8:00-10:30am  age groups still to be determined
 
Evening practices will be offered on Tues & Wed 6:00-7:00pm for families with both working parents or otherwise approved by the coaches.
 
May 24- Practice Meet
May 31- First Official Meet
We will post meet schedule once we receive from County with dates, time & location.
 
Be on the look-out for emails regarding Parent Meeting, Marlin Kick-Off Party & more swim suit sizing dates!!
 

Sponsorship

Will you consider sponsoring the Edinburgh Marlins Swim Team?!

Our swim team involves over 150 young swimmers and their families. Swim expenses include lane ropes and rope storage wheels, backstroke flags and poles, staging chairs, starting equipment, sound system, lighting, headsets, computer and printer, paper, coaches salaries, swimmer trophies and ribbons, as well as concession items. Each summer we host 3 swim meets with an attendance of approximately 450 people per meet which provides an excellent advertising venue via banners and heat sheet (program) ads. New this year, we will be including all sponsors on the swim team t-shirt! This will provide another wonderful advertising venue for your business as the swimmers and their families are essentially walking billboards when they wear the t-shirt. Your business can be a t-shirt sponsor for just $50!! We also advertise sponsor logos on our website. Please consider having your business become a sponsor!!
