“Relay Bell” Now Goes Off at 5:45pm

Most of our swimmers look forward to the relay events.  They are a team-bonding, crowd-cheering good time.  Relay teams are made up of 4 swimmers and if any of these 4 swimmers are late or miss the meet without notification, the team is usually “scratched” and their remaining team members are not able to swim the event.  To try and minimize the number of “scratched” relay teams and disappointed swimmers, we have designated 5:45pm as the “point of no return”.   Meaning, at 5:45pm only swimmers that are present will be considered for a relay team. 

 A reminder to all of our parents that Swimmer Check-In is at 4:30pm and the “Relay Bell” goes off at 5:45pm.  This allows 75 minutes from Check-In Time to Bell time for your swimmer to be present and eligible for a relay team which should be enough time to deal with “running late”, traffic delays, etc.

 We thank each of you for your support in making the swim team a fun and worthy experience for your child(ren).
